Visa Information

Citizens of countries outside the Schengen Area must make sure to have all the necessary information on whether or not a Visa is required before travelling to Portugal:
• European Commission – Migration and Home Affairs – Visa policy
• Portuguese Ministry of Foreign Affairs – Where to lodge a short stay visa application

Should it be necessary to request a Letter of Acceptance in order to apply for a Visa, applicants must:
• Be an author of an accepted Abstract
• Send an e-mail to the Conference Secretariat (WE2022@ua.pt) stating the request for the Letter and providing the applicant’s full name, date of birth and residence address (to be included in the Letter)

Please note that Visa arrangements must be handled by each participant on their own responsibility. Also, the Letter of Acceptance to be sent to applicants does not oblige the WOCSDICE EXMATEC 2022 Organisation to finance any expenses that participants will incur associated with travel, accommodation, registration and all remaining Conference attendance.
