Conference Cancellation Policy

Requests for cancellations and refunds must be made by e-mail to the Conference Secretariat (WE2022@ua.pt). Refund conditions for cancelled participations already paid in full are:
• Registrations cancelled until 12 April 2022 will be refunded 80% of the registration fee
• Registrations cancelled from 13 April 2022 onward will not be eligible for a refund

 

Insurance and Liability

The registration fee does not include personal or property insurance and the WOCSDICE EXMATEC 2022 Organisation will not assume any responsibility for injury or damage to person or property throughout the duration of the Conference. Participants are therefore advised to make their own insurance arrangements as pleased (e.g., travel, valuable items, medical assistance, etc.) before travelling to the Conference venue.

If the Conference is postponed or cancelled in its whole due to force majeure events, or due to events not imputable to wrongful intent or gross negligence from the WOCSDICE EXMATEC 2022 Organisation, the participants cannot hold the Organisation liable for any damages, costs or losses incurred, such as (but not limited to) travel and accommodation costs or other indirect losses and consequential damages.
